Making their Debut Apperance .... the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha

I had a blast over the weekend shooting this event!! I had never been to a Debutant formal let alone shoot one so I was super stoked when I met over a year ago with the events planner Mallanie to go the details. being in a sorority in my collegiate years I thought I had an idea of what to expect but OH EM GEE these girls were sooo much fun!!! All of the debutantes were adorable and cracking me up all night!! From the getting ready to dances with dads and then being passed off to their escorts it was much like many weddings I shoot but times 7!!! I couldnt stop snapping that camera, my fingers were sore by the end of the night!

So excited that this week i get to meet more of my sorority family. Graduation time is happening again and cap and gown and internships and job applications are in the air!

Enjoy this preview from Courtney's session yesterday! She was so much fun to hangout with as we ran around the Santa Ana train station. Courtney looked great and has a smile that turned everyone's heads...She was even asked for an autograph!! Rock it girlie!
